Vital Materials today announced the introduction of VITA Genesis, a next-generation Photon Counting CT (PCCT) system developed on a fully integrated technology chain spanning ultra-high-purity materials, CZT (CdZnTe) single-crystal growth, detector design, and advanced imaging software. Designed to support higher spatial resolution, improved low-dose imaging, and true multi-spectral acquisition, VITA Genesis represents a significant step forward in precision CT system architecture.

At the core of the platform are Vital Materials’ proprietary CZT photon-counting detectors, produced using 7N-grade ultra-pure materials and integrated with the Quantum Matrix-V1000 ASIC. This detector architecture enables precise energy discrimination, fine pixel resolution, and reliable spectral separation across a wide dynamic range. The system is supported by a high-throughput acquisition and processing framework that enables accurate photon counting, efficient spectral processing, and advanced image reconstruction.

By vertically integrating critical technologies from raw materials through detector fabrication and imaging algorithms, Vital Materials provides a stable and scalable foundation for continued PCCT development.
